Q. I don’t want to break out on my wedding/event day but I want my skin to look great. How far in advance should I get a facial before my wedding or event?
A. Glam Lounge Artists offer a few very specialized treatments to make your skin healthy, fresh and glowing before your big day without the down time associated with regular facials.
Our Ultimate Euro does consist of deep cleansing steps so to be safe we recommend booking this facial 7-10 day prior to your day. But we also offer a Refine and Refinish facial that can be performed just 2-3 days prior to your wedding or event which helps gently slough off dead skin cells without leaving you red or flaky.
But, for the most amazing results our Oxygen Rejuvenation Facial is the perfect hydrating treatment that leaves skin luminous and lifted and can be performed the day before your wedding or event without the fear of breakouts or redness.
Q. Do I need to do a makeup trial before my wedding?
A. Our goal with each bride is not only to make you look drop dead gorgeous but to alleviate any stress on your special day.
We highly suggest having a makeup trial 4-8 weeks prior to your wedding so that your artist can try out a few looks to ensure that you are more than 100% happy with your look. We also want you to be able to relax and enjoy the day knowing that you look amazing!
Q. How far in advance should I book my bridal makeup and hair trial?
We are happy to schedule at a time when you the bride are most comfortable, but generally four to eight weeks prior to your wedding is a good time frame in case there are any changes in hair color etc prior to the wedding.
Many brides also like to schedule their makeup and hair trials on the day of their engagement photos so that they are picture perfect for the camera.
Q. Is there a charge for traveling to my location for facials or makeup services?
There is no charge for a member of our team to travel to your location if you are in the Phoenix metropolitan area (Phoenix, Tempe, Scottsdale, Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert).
However if your location is outside of these areas including Sun City, Apache Junction, San Tan, Sedona, Flagstaff, Tucson etc a travel fee will be applied.
Q. Can I book someone just for an eyebrow wax?
A. We would be delighted to help with your brow and waxing services! However, our minimum service booking fee is $75 - which means that you can add a waxing service to other services such as facials, makeup, lash or brow tinting etc.
Q. How do I know which Glam Lounge Artist I am booking for my service?
A. You may of course request a specific artist for your service, however if you do not have a preference we will book an artist based on your needs in conjunction with availability for the day of your event.
